The Event Derby and Clinics and Young Event Horse Series July 4-5 at Cottonwood Ranch

Please join us July 4-5 for The Event Derby and Clinics at Cottonwood Ranch. This event will also include the Young Event Horse series, for more information please see the link on the left of the page.

The Event Derby® competition consists of a Dressage Test followed by a Jumping Course combining both stadium and cross-country fences. There are approximately 12-22 obstacles, on varied terrain that may include banks, ditches and water. The Event Derby® is a registered competition, adhering to USEA and US Equestrian Federation Rules providing a safe and inviting venue for first-time competitors, green horses, as well as seasoned competitors through the Advanced level. The Event Derby® provides cross-training for both horse and rider, regardless of their equestrian discipline. Riders are encouraged to enter more than one class (see discount information below).


Limited stabling Friday and Saturday nights at $55 per stall per night (includes first bedding).
Facilities fee mandatory in addition to stabling: $35 per day
CA Drug fee: $5

$120.00 per division for The Event Derby® (ride in two full T.E.D. divisions and get the second ride for $90.00)
$80.00 for Jumping Course only.
$45.00 for Dressage Test only.
